WHAT TO EXPECT FROM StatCARE
To ensure a smooth, safe, and efficient experience for all our patients, here are a few key guidelines:
- Medication Policies: We’re happy to refill certain chronic medications but do not start new chronic prescriptions. Additionally, we do not prescribe or refill-controlled substances, including medications like phentermine, Adderall, pain medications, and similar medications.
- Selective Imaging and Labs: Our focus is on quick care for common issues, so we generally do not order imaging or lab work, except in select cases where it’s absolutely necessary.
- Non-Emergency Care: StatCARE is ideal for straightforward, non-urgent health concerns. For more complex needs, we encourage you to visit your primary care provider.
- NOTE: If medications are not prescribed and a follow-up with a PCP, urgent care, or ER is recommended, this does not entitle the patient to a refund, as payment is for professional evaluation and recommendations, not a guaranteed prescription.
If you are experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, or suspect a stroke, dial 9-1-1 or go to the nearest emergency room.
*Virtual Care For Residents of New Mexico, Arizona, Washington, and California only. Ages 18 and older only.
